Calculus...

Been studying for my Calculus exam on and off all day. I find it hard to believe that Isaac Newton came up with Calculus in a week. Right now I am wishing I could learn Calculus in a week... Anyway, I better get back to studying. I'm not looking forward to this exam at all and this is the first time in my life that I actually can say I do not understand. It is a scary feeling.

Magnatune

I stumbled across a new record label with a revolutionary idea. Play it before you buy it. Their setup is made so that listeners can listen to whole albums before they pay for them. For only $5 the listener can buy the album they just listened to. It is a very nice price compared to the current price of an album established by the RIAA. Another thing that gives them much praise in my book is that the artist rkeep the rights to their music and get 50% of the money made from their album. Magnatune's slogan is "We are not evil" and I really hope it works out for them. They don't have any big names and their current list of artist isn't anything special but they are just starting out and I expect them to grow quite a bit after the word gets spread. It is about time that the recording industry takes better care of the artists and the consumers!

Added A New Feature

Was surfing different blogs and found a neat thing to put up on my site. Its called tag-board and you can use it to leave me a messge when you stop by. It is just another way to leave a general gomment or just say hello. It works real time so you never know who you may end up talking to when cruising past my site!

I find it interesting how so much ephasis is put into education, work, and becomming a functional member of society, yet there is little emphasis put into living a happy life. What is wrong with today's world?

Paranormal Activity

I can't help but wonder about things that are considered paranormal activities. Are they just colorful stories from the imagination or is there some scientific explination that can explain them. I aslo have to wonder if the true explination for such things are actually things that wouldn't be so scientific. Will someone ever prove that spirits or other mystical forces that govern our world really exist? Would someone be believed if they came up with concrete facts to support something that is not accepted by the scientific world?

I plan on making some future posts on certain unexplained activities that capture the imagination. There are some phenomina out there that are very intriguing.
